Overview

Location: Kraków (Hybrid — 6 days per month in the office). Full-Time Position. Salary: 150 - 175 PLN/h + VAT (B2B).

Responsibilities

Implement solutions according to design patterns and best practices
Analyze requirements to understand solutions and recommend improvements
Lead UI changes and improvements to enhance UX and application stability
Participate in DevOps automation and improve CI/CD lifecycles on GCP
Manage changes through the Service Management lifecycle
Contribute to software architecture design
Develop application prototypes to validate concepts and designs
Provide exceptional customer support by addressing and resolving issues promptly
Communicate effectively with customers to understand needs and provide solutions

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in production application development with strong troubleshooting and issue resolution in high-pressure environments
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, C#) and Web API development; experience building and maintaining scalable, secure backend services
Experience with React for dynamic, interactive, high-performance web applications
Expertise in database design and SQL, including advanced scripting, query optimization, and performance tuning
Solid knowledge of GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM) and deploying/operating production workloads on GCP
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and GCP-native DevOps tooling (Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Cloud Monitoring)
Experience with CI/CD practices including continuous integration, delivery, and automated testing pipelines
Experience with SDLC including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist) as productivity tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results
