About the Role
We're hiring an AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer on behalf of our client, a fintech company building a Merchant Operating System — an all-in-one platform for payments, loyalty and rewards, invoicing, recurring billing, and fraud and chargeback protection. The platform helps online, in-store, and mobile businesses process payments smarter, keep more of what they earn, and scale with less friction.
You'll join the client's team to build and improve core parts of the platform: from zero-fee card processing and fast payouts to seamless merchant onboarding and fund-protection tools. The product serves small and medium businesses as well as high-risk merchants, for whom reliability, security, and uninterrupted access to funds are critical.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who knows the payments domain from the inside and uses AI tools as a natural part of everyday development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full-stack features using https://jobeax.com/link/wGBLasCtsmGJlvEi, https://jobeax.com/link/Z30sZYC3jcRenVso, and Golang
Develop backend services in https://jobeax.com/link/wGBLasCtsmGJlvEi and Go, and frontend applications in Next.js
Integrate and maintain payment service providers and financial APIs (Adyen, Stripe, https://jobeax.com/link/q5UJKXhptAfXLJ6b, Plaid, etc.)
Develop functionality for payment processing, payouts, recurring billing, invoicing, and loyalty
Contribute to fraud prevention and chargeback protection features
Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases
Build and deploy services on AWS with a focus on security, reliability, and scalability
Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up delivery while keeping code quality high
Collaborate with the client's product and engineering team on technical decisions and delivery
What We're Looking For
Must Have
Solid commercial experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with https://jobeax.com/link/JSd7UYCSg572jJDY (https://jobeax.com/link/wGBLasCtsmGJlvEi) and Next.js
Commercial experience with Golang for backend services
Proven fintech background — payments, banking, lending, or other financial products
Hands-on experience integrating payment and financial APIs such as Adyen, Stripe, https://jobeax.com/link/q5UJKXhptAfXLJ6b, or Plaid
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Practical experience with AWS
AI-native approach to development — confident daily use of AI coding tools in your workflow
Availability for full-time engagement for 3+ months
Native Ukrainian speaker
Nice to Have
Experience with fraud detection, risk management, or chargeback handling
Background working with high-risk merchants or merchant acquiring
Experience with recurring billing, subscriptions, or loyalty/rewards systems
Knowledge of PCI DSS and security best practices for handling payment data
