Your responsibilities

Record-to-Report / Month-End Close

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process for Polish entities

• Prepare and analyse accruals, provisions, prepayments, and journal entries

• Participate in balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations

• Analyse variances in the P&L and balance sheet

• Support management reporting in line with Group requirements

• Ensure proper documentation of processes and reconciliations

Multi-Entity Controllership

• Support controlling activities across multiple legal entities in Poland

• Monitor financial performance and intercompany positions

• Collaborate on improving reporting and month-end close processes

• Prepare ad hoc analyses and financial reports

Shared Services Coordination (PTP / OTC)

• Coordinate financial processes with Genpact GBS

• Monitor open items, delays, and process quality

• Support resolution of issues related to invoice processing, payments, cash application, and master data

• Build effective communication between local finance teams and SSC

Statutory & Compliance

• Support preparation of data for statutory financial statements and local compliance requirements

• Collaborate with external statutory service providers

• Assist in audits and tax-related support activities

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve financial and controlling processes

• Support standardisation across multiple entities

• Participate in transformation and system improvement projects

Our requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, controlling, audit, or R2R roles
• Strong understanding of month-end close and reconciliation processes
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in an international environment is a strong advantage
• Experience working with SSC / GBS is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Fluency in Polish and English
• Willingness to travel for business purposes

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with approximately 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance who is looking to develop in the areas of controllership, Record-to-Report (R2R), and Shared Services collaboration.

The role provides exposure to multiple Group companies in Poland, involvement in month-end closing processes, and collaboration with offshore teams and external partners. It represents a natural development step toward a future Controller position.
