Associate Manager overseeing daily clinical operations team management and staff development within Thermo Fisher Scientific's PPD clinical research services. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day team supervision and conduct onboarding programs for new employees
Deliver training on SOPs, WPDs, and local requirements; identify and address training gaps
Evaluate employee performance through file reviews and monitoring assessments (remote or on-site)
Oversee staff administration including hiring, performance reviews, goal setting, and corrective actions
Escalate quality issues and process improvement opportunities to senior management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification
0–5 years of related clinical operations experience
Minimum 1 year of leadership or line management responsibility
Knowledge of clinical trial operations and risk-based monitoring approaches
Proficiency with clinical management systems (CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity)
Strong training delivery and staff development capabilities
