At G2A , we are looking for a Category Manager (Software) to take ownership of the development and scaling of the entire Software category.

This is a role for someone who knows the Software market inside out - understands products such as antivirus, VPN, cybersecurity, productivity and business software, as well as subscriptions and AI tools. You can look at the category from both the customer and market perspective, as well as through the lens of the business - pricing, margins, sales, and profitability.

As Category Manager, you will have real end-to-end ownership of the category from strategy, assortment, and sourcing, through pricing, margins, and partnerships, to promotions, go-to-market, and sales performance.

You will actively identify new products, brands, and growth opportunities, analyze customer needs and competitor activity, and turn these insights into concrete business initiatives.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building, testing, and scaling - takes ownership of results, moves quickly from idea to execution, and can turn market knowledge into measurable growth in GMV, revenue, and profitability.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the Software category end-to-end, taking ownership of its growth, GMV, revenue, margin, and overall business performance.
• Develop and execute the category and sales strategy from assortment and pricing to promotions and identifying priority markets.
• Develop and optimize the product portfolio across antivirus, VPN, cybersecurity, productivity and business software, as well as subscriptions and AI tools.
• Build and optimize the pricing and margin strategy, balancing a competitive offering with the goal of maximizing category profitability.
• Build and develop relationships with key software brands, publishers, distributors, and other strategic partners.
• Identify new products, market trends, and growth opportunities, and translate them into concrete business initiatives.
• Work closely with Marketing, CRM, and Product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional activities tailored to the Software category.
• Analyze customer behavior, competitor activity, and category performance to continuously optimize conversion, product mix, and sales.
• Act as the internal Software market expert, bringing industry knowledge, trends, and business insights to G2A.COM.
• Drive the category from strategy to execution - test new opportunities, learn from data, and scale initiatives that deliver measurable business results.

You're a perfect match for the role, if:

• You have at least 5 years of experience in the Software industry - ideally in sales, category management, business development, or other commercial roles.
• You have a strong understanding of products across antivirus, VPN, cybersecurity, productivity, and business software, as well as subscriptions and AI tools.
• You have a deep understanding of the Software ecosystem, including licensing models, pricing, margins, and distribution channels.
• You have experience developing and executing sales or category strategies and can translate them into measurable business growth.
• You have hands-on experience with pricing, promotions, portfolio management, and commercial negotiations.
• You combine strong business and analytical skills with the ability to identify and prioritize new growth opportunities.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and take full ownership of the results of your area.
• You can think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach and moving quickly from idea to execution.
• You understand the business side of the category and can connect customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities with revenue and profitability.
• You make data-driven decisions, combining market knowledge with performance analysis and key metrics.
• You have excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills - both in relationships with external partners and when collaborating with internal teams.
• You can work effectively with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and other teams across the organization.
