We are looking for an experienced Credit Control professional with strong credit risk management expertise and excellent English skills to support strategic credit decisions in an international environment. This is hybrid work model from Łódź (2–3 days per week from the office).
Key responsibilities:
- Drive consistent credit decision-making across the portfolio (incl. limit reviews, risk assessment, exceptions/escalations)
- Review and approve customer credit limits ; assess ongoing credit risk exposure
- Support decisions on order release / credit blocks in line with policy and risk appetite
- Monitor AR risk, overdue balances, and bad debt exposure; propose mitigation actions
- Cooperate closely with Sales and Management to resolve credit issues and support shipping cut-offs and business continuity
- Deliver HQ/local reporting (exposure, ageing, KPIs), including trend analysis and actionable insights
- Ensure timely and accurate daily Credit Control activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, service levels, and internal control requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of Credit Control processes, controls, and reporting
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Credit Control / Credit Risk management (international environment preferred)
- Very good English (daily business communication)
- Strong analytical skills (Excel/reporting; ability to deep dive into data)
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and handle sensitive situations professionally
- SAP experience
