About the project, As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in online banking, within a dynamic Cybersecurity Architecture team dedicated to developing and maintaining advanced security monitoring systems and defining strategic security architecture. You will support critical IT projects, strengthen system resilience against cyber threats, and help shape secure banking experiences. Your responsibilities, Maintain and develop systems supporting cybersecurity monitoring and protection against cyberattacks, Collaborate with IT teams on security-related system changes and digital process enhancements, Provide cybersecurity consulting and support for IT projects, Analyze the security and resilience of banking systems against current cyber threats, Support the Security Operations Center in managing security incidents, Contribute to the creation and evolution of information security standards, Analyze threats and vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure, Assess security solutions and recommend improvements to bolster the organization’s security posture, Support the implementation of security architecture across IT environments, Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices
A higher education degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, or a related technical field, At least 3 years of professional IT experience or 2 years specializing in IT security, Practical experience with cybersecurity technologies and solutions, Extensive knowledge of application and IT system security, Good understanding of networking technologies and Microsoft Windows/RHEL operating systems, Knowledge of threat and vulnerability analysis techniques in IT infrastructure, Familiarity with security technologies securing organizational internet perimeters, Understanding of information security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS, Proficiency in English for fluent communication and technical documentation, Polish (Good command), Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role
Optional, Industry security certifications like CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+, Knowledge of financial-sector regulations (e.g., KNF Recommendation D, UKSC), Experience with cloud solutions such as Azure and GCP, Ability to work under pressure and resilience to stress
