What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or modern Data Platform roles.
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end data platforms or Lakehouse solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of Lakehouse, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and modern Data Platform architectures.
- Experience designing scalable ingestion, transformation, storage, serving, and integration patterns.
- Good knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, data governance, security, and data modelling.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, testing, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding Data Engineering teams.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Consulting mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, shape solutions, and advise clients with confidence.
- Excellent English language skills and native Bulgarian are a must
