Hi, Polcode here!

We’re a global technology partner that values collaboration, ownership, and a practical approach to building software. Our team of almost 100 professionals helps build and improve digital businesses, software platforms, eCommerce stores, websites, apps, and everything in between. And they’re good at it.

We’re currently looking for a Data Engineer with strong Databricks experience to join a long-term project in the energy sector. The cooperation is planned until the end of 2027, with an option to extend.

The project focuses on developing and continuously improving a modern data platform, with particular attention to data quality, scalable data processes, and providing reliable data for reporting.

You’ll work hands-on with Databricks, Python, and SQL , designing and developing data solutions based on a Medallion Architecture and integrating data into an enterprise Data Lake.

We’re open to experienced Data Engineers at different levels of seniority. What matters most is solid hands-on Databricks expertise and the ability to work independently. If you also bring senior-level experience in areas such as architecture, optimization, access management, and deployment practices, there will be plenty of room to put it to use.

Why this project is worth your attention:

Long-term cooperation in the energy sector planned until the end of 2027, with an option to extend
Strong focus on modern Data Engineering and Databricks
Work with an enterprise-scale Data Lake and Medallion Architecture
Opportunity to influence data platform design, performance, and data quality
Hands-on role combining data modelling, ETL/ELT, orchestration, and platform development
Room for experienced engineers to contribute to architectural and technical decisions
Azure and German are nice-to-haves, not entry requirements.
