What are we looking for?

As an impactful people leader and operational manager, you will become the primary point of contact for day-to-day database operations and delivery for your assigned brands.
Extensive experience in leading, mentoring, and scaling technical teams, with an unwavering focus on nurturing talent and fostering a healthy engineering culture.
Proven track record of executing daily database management tasks, managing team capacity, and effectively balancing operational support with project delivery.
Experienced in collaborating with database principals or enterprise architects to successfully implement global security policies, compliance requirements, and engineering standards within your team.
A structured approach to incident management, query performance tracking, and proactive database maintenance is embedded in your professional DNA to ensure high availability for your brands.
Skilled in translating high-level architecture and database designs into actionable tasks, sprints, and clear deliverables for your database engineers.
Experienced in managing database infrastructure within cloud or hybrid environments, ensuring cost-efficiency and operational stability for specific brand workloads.
You believe that neglecting regular team feedback, clear KPIs, and career development paths is a missed opportunity to build a high-performing database engineering team.
Passionate about full team ownership of your assigned data layer, encompassing the entire operational lifecycle, documentation, and managing the team's after-hours support rotation.
Embracing new management frameworks, agile methodologies, or operational automation tools is an opportunity you eagerly pursue to remove blockers for your team.
Skilled at balancing the demands of critical, immediate operational fixes while keeping the team aligned on long-term product roadmaps and tight deadlines.
Your actions consistently demonstrate that close collaboration with cross-functional brand teams and product owners is the best path to delivering outstanding, data-driven products.
