Abbott seeks a Finance Controller for Poland and Central/Eastern Europe to oversee financial operations across eight countries with $250MM+ in annual sales. The role provides strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and manages regional consolidation, reporting, and process improvements within the Diabetes Care Division.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations and compliance across eight countries in the region
- Manage monthly financial consolidation, reporting, and analytical support to senior leadership
- Develop and mentor finance and demand planning staff across the organization
- Lead monthly business reviews and financial processes with country commercial heads
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate regional risks and opportunities to management
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred
- Minimum 10 years progressive experience in controlling and financial roles
- Minimum 5 years international experience across multiple countries with regional consolidation expertise
- Fluent in Polish and English with excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Proven people management experience with strong leadership and analytical capabilities
- Ability to work with senior executives and provide strategic financial guidance
- Experience leading teams in challenging environments and driving process innovation
