Mid/Senior 3D Animator w Gdynia, Polska

We are Chronospace – creators of the games Aviators and The Cyphers Game. We are currently working on an ambitious project, War Mechanic – a game that combines exploration, survival, and simulation elements in a unique dieselpunk style. Our studio is based in Sopot with office in Gdynia and consists of a team of young, talented, and creative individuals. We are looking for a talented 3D Animator to join our team and help us develop high-quality game titles.

Responsibilities
Rigging game characters and animating their movements
Working closely with developers to create/improve tools, technologies and pipelines
Working closely with the team to get best possible results

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements
At least 5 years on similar position
Professional experience in game development industry
Great knowledge of both technical and artistic side of game character animation
Great understanding of movement and ability to tell a story/convey emotions with movement
Good knowledge of modeling programs: 3D Max, Maya, Modo, Blender
Excellent skills in creating high-poly and low-poly 3D character models
Understanding different art styles
Ability to work within a team
Good knowledge of game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine etc.

Nice To Have
Familiarity with AI-enhanced workflows
Familiarity with motion-capture pipeline
Secondary school or university degree at graphic arts or equivalent
Passionate about playing video games and most importantly, making them
Familiarity with various game genres
Familiarity with task trackers (Jira, Asana, etc.)
Familiarity with version control software
