- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern platform engineering concepts.
- Practical operational or development experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, YugaByteDB , or similar database/distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, observability, change management, and incident response .
- Track record of building automation or self-service tools that improve developer productivity .
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code (Go or similar languages).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on developer experience and supported adoption .
Nice to have:
- Experience building Kubernetes operators/controllers , ideally using Go.
- Familiarity with AWS managed database services (e.g., RDS, Aurora) or equivalent solutions.
- Knowledge of distributed database patterns, multi-region architecture, and disaster recovery .
