Currently, for one of our clients, an international production company, we are seeking the best person to take on a role as a Process Engineer.

Summary of Job Content:

As a Process Engineer you will report directly to the department Manager. This role is responsible for implementations and supervision of technological production processes. In addition to that you will implement new products and take responsibility for modernizations and technological improvements aimed at improving quality and reducing production costs (reducing material and labor consumption).

Your responsibilities

• Leading the industrialization process of new products – from the concept phase through to the launch of serial production
• Designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing production processes with a focus on workstation ergonomics, efficiency and productivity, material flow, and internal logistics, including setting time standards, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, and ensuring quality
• Defining critical process parameters, developing and updating process documentation (work instructions, flow charts, PFMEA, layouts, etc.)
• Collaborating with NPD, Quality, and Production departments, including co-creating quality control plans to ensure product and process compliance with requirements
• Implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies and other continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S)
• Cooperating with engineering and IT teams to implement Industry 4.0 solutions
• Analyzing production issues and implementing corrective actions

Our requirements

• Higher technical education (e.g., Production Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or Automation)
• Must have min. of few years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of process optimization methods (e.g., Lean, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM)
• Experience in designing production processes and production lines
• Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA - PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, SPC)
• Ability to work with technical documentation and CAD tools (SolidWorks), as well as ERP systems
• Strong ability to plan and coordinate project tasks
• Analytical mind-set and experience in optimization of production costs
• English min B2 level and Polish as mother language
• Proficient in MS Office
• ‘Can-do’ attitude with a pro-active approach
• Result/task and action oriented with motivating skills and drive
• Decision-making ability
• Ability to think analytically and prospectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with various teams and train others
• Very good organization and time-management skills to achieve goals within given deadlines
• Effective problem-solving capabilities, self-motivated
• Ability to work both independently and with diverse team
