Your responsibilities

Lead investment and improvement projects from concept to successful implementation.
Build and coordinate cross-functional project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to agreed objectives.
Prepare tender and procurement documentation, including RFQs, technical specifications, scopes of work and project requirements.
Support procurement activities, including material and service sourcing, supplier selection and negotiations.
Analyse existing projects and production solutions and identify opportunities for improvement, optimisation and innovation.
Take ownership of project timelines, budgets, quality and overall delivery.
Work closely with the Barry Callebaut Group Engineering team in Belgium, as well as local and international stakeholders.
Ensure that projects comply with applicable legislation, engineering standards and food safety requirements.
Identify and implement technical solutions that improve production efficiency, reliability, safety and quality.
Contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of our chocolate manufacturing operations.

A university degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of experience in project engineering, engineering and/or maintenance.
Fluent English — you will be working with international teams and colleagues.
Very good knowledge of MS Office.
Strong technical curiosity and a genuine interest in production technologies and manufacturing processes.
A results-oriented approach and strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel when required.
The ability to manage several projects and priorities while keeping a clear focus on deadlines, budget and quality.
