Your responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across functional, UI, and accessibility areas to verify features meet requirements and user needs.
• Design, execute, and document API tests to validate integrations and backend behaviour.
• Use AI-assisted tools (for example, Claude) to streamline test case generation, exploratory testing, and defect analysis.
• Write clear, reproducible bug reports and work with developers to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Apply software testing theory and methodologies to define effective test strategies and approaches.
• Use Gherkin syntax and the BDD approach to create readable, behaviour-focused scenarios where appropriate.
• Identify risks and potential quality issues early in the development process and propose mitigation steps.
• Define test scope and prioritise testing activities based on risk, project timelines, and product impact.
• Communicate test status, risks, and results to stakeholders in a timely and constructive manner.
