SCADA / HMI SPECIALIST

For an international company specialized in industrial automation and supervision systems , we are looking for a SCADA / HMI Specialist to join the SCADA team in Łódź.

This is an excellent opportunity for an automation professional with 1-3 years of experience who wants to develop strong expertise in SCADA/HMI systems and work on industrial projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical and food sectors .

THE ROLE

You will join a structured SCADA team and work alongside senior professionals through a dedicated mentoring and training path , progressively developing the skills required to design, configure, test and maintain industrial supervision systems.

The long-term objective is to reach increasing autonomy in the development of SCADA and HMI applications for monitoring, controlling and managing industrial production processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the development and configuration of SCADA systems for industrial plants
• Develop HMI screens and operator interfaces
• Collect, process and visualize data from field devices
• Support the installation and configuration of SCADA servers, networks and infrastructures
• Perform system testing and validation
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Verify data exchange between PLCs, field devices and SCADA systems
• Prepare technical project documentation
• Support commissioning and plant start-up activities at customer sites
• Work closely with Engineering, Automation, Service and Quality Assurance teams

TECHNOLOGIES

You will work with commercial SCADA platforms such as:

• iFIX
• WinCC
• Other industrial supervision platforms
• SQL / Microsoft SQL Server
• Industrial servers and communication networks
• PLCs and industrial communication protocols

Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, VB/VBA, .NET, Python, Java, C or C++ is considered a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly packaging , is preferred
• Knowledge of SCADA and HMI systems
• Basic understanding of industrial automation
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Intermediate English
• Willingness to travel internationally and nationally
• Driving licence and passportTHE PROFILE
