We are seeking an experienced SDET specializing in JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright to join our engineering team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with test managers, product owners, developers, and other engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain robust automated test solutions. Your work will span functional, non-functional, API, component, and performance testing, with a strong emphasis on automation, CI/CD integration, and traceability. Responsibilities Collaborate with test managers and product owners to understand test plans and approaches for new and existing software featuresAnalyze requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to create clear and comprehensive test scenarios and scriptsDesign, develop, and execute automated tests covering functional and non-functional aspects of the softwareImplement API testing strategies to validate endpoints for correctness, security, reliability, and performanceMaintain component-level test suites with appropriate mocks and contracts to ensure modules function correctly in isolation and as part of the systemPlan, execute, and analyze performance and load tests to assess system scalability, responsiveness, and stabilityIdentify, document, and report defects with detailed reproduction steps, logs, and supporting evidenceCoordinate with developers, DevOps, and other engineering teams to anticipate and test upcoming changesBuild and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks with a focus on efficiency, coverage, and repeatability, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines with quality gatesMaintain organized and traceable test artifacts in tools such as Xray, Jira, Confluence, and Git, ensuring all tests are linked to requirements and acceptance criteriaIdentify risks, escalate critical issues, and propose mitigation strategies to support high-quality, timely software releasesParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming Requirements 5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript test automation3+ years of hands-on expertise with PlaywrightUnderstanding of API testing, mocking, and contract validation using modern toolsExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining traceability in test management toolsProficiency in Agile methodologies and effective cross-team communicationSkills in designing and automating API tests traced to Swagger endpoints, with experience maintaining mocks/stubs using tools such as Playwright, Supertest, Wiremock, Bruno, and PactFamiliarity with WireMock, Docker Compose/TestContainers (with Postgres and Kafka), and LocalStack for building isolated component test suitesExperience developing reusable test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to support scalable automation Nice to have Experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot within VS Code, to accelerate test case and script creation We offer We gather like-minded people:Top tech minds driving innovation in AI, cloud and digital platform modernizationSupportive team and agile, startup-like cultureHybrid by design mode and opportunity to work remotely within PolandChance to work abroad for up to 60 days annuallyBusiness-driven relocation opportunitiesWe provide growth opportunities:Career development programsThought leadership, mentoring, soft skills and well-being programsCertification (Anthropic, Gemini, GCP, Azure, AWS)English classesWe cover it all:Stable payParticipation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan with a 15% discountBenefits package (health insurance, multisport, shopping vouchers)Referral bonuses up to $2,000Offices featuring entertainment and relaxation zones, table tennis and football, free snacks, coffee and moreCorporate, social and well-being eventsPlease, note:Benefits listed above are available to employees onlyWe are open for working with Contractors.
