Your responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and continuously improve cloud-native APIs and microservices powering the Vehicle Data platform
- Design, build, and maintain reliable data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Implement and optimize automated data quality controls across multiple vehicle data sources
- Ensure high availability, stability, and performance of production services
- Troubleshoot incidents, resolve technical issues, and support operational processes such as Incident, Problem, and Service Request Management
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design efficient data-driven solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture, engineering standards, and best practices
- Support CI/CD automation, monitoring, and observability of the platform
- Drive continuous improvements in agile ways of working and engineering processes
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required (up to 12 days per year)
Our requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Python
- Experience designing and developing APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT or data processing pipelines
- Good understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and schema design (MySQL is a plus)
- Experience working with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation practices (preferably Terraform)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, ECS, or EKS
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, version control, and modern software delivery practices
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Datadog
- Ability to work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data formats (e.g., JSON, Parquet)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira
- Strong communication, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills
- Customer-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Professional English and Polish language skills (C1 level)
Optional
- Experience in the automotive, mobility, connected vehicle, or telematics domain
- Understanding of vehicle data ecosystems and related business processes
- Experience working in large international organizations
- Familiarity with SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks
