Skills & requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
Advanced knowledge of PySpark, Python, and SQL.
Knowledge of ETL tools.
Experience working with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing, and modern software engineering practices.
Ability to read code and understand the ETL processes.
Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.
Good communication in English is a must.
Team player, able to lead and drive the topics in the team.
EU work permit.
For our fast‑growing Cloud & Engineering practice in Central Europe we are looking for Databricks Data Engineers to join our team. The candidate will be part of a larger team with various experience levels, responsible for delivering a new data platform.
The primary goal is to build a highly scalable and secure platform that will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines. The platform will integrate data from multiple sources, including high‑volume streaming data. The implementation process will include business and functional analysis, platform architecture design, data model design, platform and ELT process implementation, as well as data migration and testing. ✨
