About the project, We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our client, a prominent organization in the banking sector. You will be part of a newly created Scrum team working alongside experienced colleagues to develop new services and solutions in the Embedded Banking Service Domain (Payments Service Area)., , Please note: Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position. The chosen candidate will sign a cooperation agreement directly with Optiveum., , Location: Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Gdynia (Poland), , Work Model: Hybrid (min. 60% office presence)

Your responsibilities, Developing new services and solutions within the Embedded Banking Service Domain., Building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications., Collaborating closely within a newly formed agile Scrum team.

At least 6 years of proven experience in Java software development., Hands-on experience developing Microservices., Solid background with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot., Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Db2)., Familiarity with building distributed, highly available applications., Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)., Practical knowledge of modern tools and technologies including Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Maven, and JUnit., Fluent in spoken and written English.

Optional, Knowledge of Specification-Driven Development (SDD) and SDD frameworks.
