About the project, For one of our clients in the banking sector, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager. In this role, you will lead a large-scale Big Data platform migration or vendor replacement project., , Please note: Previous experience as a PM in Large-Scale platform migration or vendor replacement projects specifically in the Hadoop / Cloudera domain is a must-have and needs to be clearly outlined in your CV., , Location: Gdańsk or Gdynia (Hybrid work – 3 days per week in the office), , Rate: up to 130 PLN / hour (B2B), , Client: Banking sector

Your responsibilities, Coordinating the vendor change as a Project Manager., Planning and managing delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks., Planning and managing the budget and financial forecasting of the project., Monitoring and reporting delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues, and escalating where needed to ensure predictable execution., Upholding project management discipline by promoting a strong delivery culture., Running project team meetings., Delivering progress reporting and SteerCo reporting.

Proven track record in leading a Large-Scale Platform Migration or vendor replacement project within the Hadoop / Cloudera domain., Strong risk & issue management skills., Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights., Outstanding communication skills: able to engage, drive follow-up actions, and bring clarity in both verbal and written communication., Excellent stakeholder and executive stakeholder management skills., Fluent English and native Polish, both spoken and written., IT Project Management, Big Data, Hadoop, Cloudera
