5+ years of professional experience in backend development
Strong knowledge of Java and Spring / Spring Boot
Solid experience with REST APIs
Practical experience with microservices
Experience working with relational databases
Good understanding of software development best practices, testing and CI/CD
Experience building scalable and reliable applications
Good command of English
Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
Nice to have:
Experience working in the travel, aviation or e-commerce industry
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka )
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern deployment practices
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) or experience using AI to improve engineering workflows
Experience integrating AI/LLM-based solutions into applications
Experience working in international and distributed engineering teams
