Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a large-scale, global post-trading system with direct business impact
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build and optimize data persistence layers leveraging Hibernate and a large Oracle Database
- Contribute to the transformation of the existing system into cloud-hosted microservices
- Integrate messaging and event-driven components using Kafka
- Collaborate with chapters and pods to deliver next-generation platform capabilities
- Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of a business-critical application
- Participate in architectural discussions to shape the new infrastructure within the domain
- Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team
Our requirements
- 7+ years of relevant software development experience
- Substantial knowledge of Java (versions 8–21) and Spring Boot
- Expertise in Hibernate and SQL
- Background in working with large Oracle databases
- Familiarity with Kafka for event-driven architectures
- Working knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud transformation initiatives
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher
