About the project, We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an international team working on modern digital solutions for the travel and aviation industry., , You will be involved in developing scalable backend solutions that support digital customer journeys, online booking, additional services and travel management.

Your responsibilities, Developing and maintaining backend applications using Java, Designing and developing REST APIs and integrations, Working with microservices architecture, Taking part in technical design and architectural decisions, Building scalable, reliable and high-quality solutions, Collaborating closely with frontend developers, QA, DevOps and other technical specialists, Participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing, Contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices

5+ years of professional experience in backend development, Strong knowledge of Java and Spring / Spring Boot, Solid experience with REST APIs, Practical experience with microservices, Experience working with relational databases, Good understanding of software development best practices, testing and CI/CD, Experience building scalable and reliable applications, Good command of English, Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions

Optional, Experience working in the travel, aviation or e-commerce industry, Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Kafka), Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and modern deployment practices, Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) or experience using AI to improve engineering workflows, Experience integrating AI/LLM-based solutions into applications, Experience working in international and distributed engineering teams
