5+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 and above)
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns and understanding of secure coding practices is a must
Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
Understanding of containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
Understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ) and with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
