Senior Simulation Engineer (f/m)

Your responsibilities
Preparation of numerical models and conducting strength analyses (static, dynamic, Blade-Out, Bird Strike, Ice Ingestion) using Altair HyperMesh, Ansys Workbench and LS-DYNA software
Project management and coordination of Fast Dynamics division
Support in creation and deployment of technical and organizational processes, instructions and best practices
Technical support of co-workers and sharing knowledge in the field of numerical simulations
Our requirements
Language: English, C1
Master degree in engineering
Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude, mentoring and decision-making skills,
Ability of technical drawing interpretation
In-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, Implicit and Explicit numerical methods, proficiency in composite materials modelling, familiarity with meshless simulation methods
Professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry
LS-DYNA, Ansys and/or HyperMesh experience
Optional
Language: French
Design and GD&T experience will be considered a plus
Programming skills in VBA and Python – automatization of repetitive tasks

SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES POLAND based in Sędziszów Małopolski is a leading leader in the aviation industry market and one of the most dynamically developing companies from the Aviation Valley. The factory, which has been operating since 2017 and employs over 300 people, produces turbine blades for the LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.
In 2023, together with the French branch of Safran Aircraft Engines, a Research and Development Center was established in Rzeszów. Over 250 engineers will be employed here. In the newly established office, engineers will deal with various types of simulations relating to components of the entire aircraft engine.
