Defining engineering standards: Establish architectural patterns and best practices across Observability, CI/CD, GitOps and Kubernetes.
Supporting engineering teams: Provide hands-on technical guidance and consulting to development teams tackling complex technology, performance and integration challenges.
Shaping scalable solutions: Contribute proactively to the design of highly available and scalable systems, taking both technical and business requirements into account.
Driving engineering quality: Promote clean coding practices in Python and Go, TDD, effective code reviews and the use of AI-powered tools to improve engineering workflows and productivity.
Tech stack & engineering standards :
Core & Code: Python, Go (experience or willingness to learn), Linux.
At least 8 years of commercial software engineering experience, including building high-performance distributed systems and a strong understanding of the architectural challenges involved.
Strong proficiency in Python or Go, with a solid understanding of clean code principles and high engineering standards.
A good understanding of Kubernetes from an application perspective, including the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes environments.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing standards for CI/CD, GitOps and Observability, particularly with Prometheus and Thanos.
The ability to share knowledge, lead constructive technical discussions and support other engineers in solving complex problems.
A university degree in Computer Science or a related field and good working proficiency in English.
Availability to work in a hybrid model, with at least 3 days per week from our Warsaw office.
