About Shop Innovator
We help premium, high-ticket Shopify brands scale by building high-converting sales machines. We are looking for a hands-on Shopify professional who can build polished storefronts, maintain client stores, and manage day-to-day website updates.
About the Role
This hybrid role combines Shopify front-end development, website maintenance, content management, and direct client support. You will convert Figma designs into code, optimize storefront performance, and serve as a reliable technical point of contact for our clients and internal team.
What You'll Do
- Shopify Development: Build responsive pages, sections, and OS 2.0 templates using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JS. Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect code using Git/GitHub workflows.
- Store Management & Maintenance: Maintain client stores, troubleshoot theme bugs, install/configure apps, manage content updates, and optimize page speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Client & Team Collaboration: Communicate directly with clients via email and calls (5–10 calls/month) to explain technical solutions, gather requirements, and manage task updates in ClickUp.
- CRO & Marketing Support: Build landing pages, add conversion elements (reviews, trust badges, FAQs), and configure third-party tools like Klaviyo, https://jobeax.com/link/NZELw024oGXa05BN, GA4, and Meta Pixel.
What We're Looking For
- At least three years of professional Shopify development or website-management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid.
- Strong HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0.
- Experience creating reusable Shopify sections, blocks, and templates.
- Experience converting Figma designs into responsive Shopify pages.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Experience installing and configuring Shopify apps.
- Experience managing products, collections, pages, blogs, navigation, and website content.
- Working knowledge of ecommerce SEO and on-page optimization.
- Strong understanding of responsive web development.
- Excellent attention to visual detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
Ability to produce accurate, polished work with minimal supervision.
Who You Are
You're someone who:
- Loves working with Shopify.
- Is reliable, responsive, and dependable.
- Works quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
- Notices UX, content, and visual issues before anyone else.
- Has a strong eye for design, spacing, consistency, and presentation.
- Thinks beyond writing code and considers the full customer experience.
- Understands that premium products require trust-building content and thoughtful presentation.
- Enjoys solving problems independently.
- Is highly organized and communicates clearly.
- Takes ownership of projects from assignment through testing and deployment.
- Tests everything before marking a task complete.
- Can comfortably manage multiple client projects and priorities.
- Collaborates well with designers, marketers, project managers, and clients.
- Is comfortable asking questions when requirements are unclear.
- Looks for ways to improve a page instead of simply completing the requested update.
Bonus Points
Experience with any of the following would be an asset: Shopify Markets, Shopify Flow, Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Metafields and metaobjects, Klaviyo, https://jobeax.com/link/NZELw024oGXa05BN , Shopify Search & Discovery, GA4 and Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Schema markup, Core Web Vitals optimization, Accessibility and WCAG standards, Conversion rate optimization, A/B testing platforms, Image and video editing tools, AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.
Schedule: Remote with required 3–4 hours of daily overlap with 10 AM – 5 PM EST.
