Your responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, open-minded, and ambitious Junior Software Engineer (Backend / Mobile) to join our Listings (Mobile Apps) team. You won't just be writing code for the sake of it; you'll be a key contributor to the critical path of our iOS and Android apps, directly impacting millions of users through our Listings and Filters features. The team is currently driving a massive transformation, migrating our backend services to Kotlin and JVM, while building a next-generation shopping experience that will adapt the UI to users’ needs and use cutting-edge technologies (e.g. LLMs) to refine their search results and help them select the perfect product on our shopping platform.
Your mission? To accelerate experimentation and deployment in our mobile apps by combining strong backend capabilities with a passion for mobile development. You’ll get a unique opportunity to dive deep into Kotlin, Spring Boot 4, and Spring GraphQL by providing data and building application UI on the backend, while dedicating a significant part of your time to mastering mobile technologies (Android and/or iOS). Our team is highly experienced, and we are looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, a hunger to learn, and the flexibility to adapt to a changing tech landscape. If you're itching to take end-to-end ownership of features and want to tie your professional future to the dynamic world of mobile app development, you've found the right place.

Strong backend skills (this will be the core of our technical assessment) and a readiness to work with Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem
A genuine passion for mobile apps and a strong commitment to learn and work with native mobile technologies (iOS/UIKit/SwiftUI or Android/Jetpack Compose)
An open mind, flexibility, and a hunger for learning - we value fresh perspectives and the drive to adapt to a transforming environment
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ambition to take end-to-end ownership of functionalities delivered to mobile apps
Fluency in Polish (at least B2 level).

Previous commercial exposure to mobile technologies (iOS or Android) is a massive win
A future-proof mindset, ready to pivot and adapt as our team's structure and tech stack evolve
Excitement for working with AI-native capabilities and modernizing high-traffic services

Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).

A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.

A training budget, inter-team tourism, hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
