Our team builds backend services and data pipelines that help sellers dispatch orders on time, calculate shipment-performance scores, and connect tracking numbers to orders. We also own a few frontend components built with React. Our work spans Kotlin/JVM services, Scala/Spark data processing, and BigQuery queries and reports.
We’re looking for a junior software engineer who’s ready to contribute, learn, and grow with the team. You’ll take ownership of well-scoped tasks, with support from experienced engineers as you work across backend, data, and frontend systems.
Your responsibilities
Build useful things: Turn product and business needs into tested, maintainable software, working closely with the team.
Learn how our systems fit together: Develop your skills in Kotlin and JVM technologies, contribute to our services and React components, and learn the Scala, Spark, and BigQuery tools used in our data work.
Help keep things reliable: Write tests, take part in code reviews, and learn how we monitor and support the systems we build. You won’t join on-duty shifts when you first start. We’ll introduce them after onboarding, once you and the team agree you’re ready.
Work with modern tools: We use industry-standard AI coding assistants to support our development workflows.
Our requirements
We are looking for somone who has experience programming in Kotlin or Java and is motivated to develop their Kotlin skills in a production environment.
Is open to working across different technologies, including frontend development. You don’t need to be a React expert.
Cares about code quality, welcomes constructive code reviews, and enjoys discussing sound engineering practices.
Communicates clearly with teammates and stakeholders, and is ready to take ownership of well-scoped tasks - from clarifying the need and implementing a solution to helping monitor it after release, with support from the team.
Has a basic understanding of microservices and is interested in learning how to build reliable, scalable systems.
Is curious about data engineering and willing to learn tools such as Scala, Spark, and BigQuery.
Has professional working proficiency in English (at least B2 level).
Optional
Experience writing SQL queries in BigQuery for analysis or reporting.
Familiarity with cloud-based services.
What we offer
Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).

A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g., medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
A training budget, inter-team tourism, hackathons, and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
