Software Engineer 2 - Allegro Translations w Warszawa, Polska

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and operate high-availability backend systems and microservices.
• Own services from design through deployment under a “you build it, you run it” model.
• Migrate and optimize MongoDB databases for large-scale datasets.
• Connect and orchestrate AI services to execute complex business logic.
• Analyze complex technical implementations and translate business requirements into actionable system architectures.
• Contribute to the technical vision and development of new projects within Allegro’s translation and localization ecosystem.

Requirements

• Experience building robust backend systems with Kotlin and/or Python.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including database migration and performance optimization for large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on experience connecting and orchestrating AI services.
• English proficiency at least at B2 level.
• Interest in AI and technical innovation, with the ability to work autonomously and influence technical direction.
