Software Engineer II - C# w Poland, Kraków

EBS is a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial technology company and part of Alarm.com. Alarm.com is the leading cloud-based platform for smart security and the Internet of Things. More than 7.6+ million home and business owners depend on our solutions every day to make their properties safer, smarter, and more efficient. We’re innovating new technologies in rapidly evolving spaces including AI, video analytics, facial recognition, machine learning, energy analytics, and more.

Our Home Automation Experience (HAX) team owns the full home automation domain at https://jobeax.com/link/WTii7Hmt5MMGFYL4 including devices, device groups, rules, schedules, scenes, and automation-related notifications, for both customers and dealers, across web, mobile, and the backend services that make it all work. https://jobeax.com/link/WTii7Hmt5MMGFYL4 is a smart-home-as-a-service platform — our products reach end customers through a network of professional security and smart-home dealers who install, configure, and support our systems, which means HAX builds for two distinct audiences with very different needs. If 'intuitive, accessible, reliable home automation' is the kind of problem you want to spend the next several years on, this is a good place to do it.

As a Software Engineer II on HAX Team Automation Pod, you'll support the delivery of high-impact features end to end, from partnering with Product Management and Quality Engineering, collaborating with your peer engineers, to being involved in and owning technical designs and feature implementations. You'll focus primarily on backend development and data, and edge computing infrastructure on our panels for all of our automation features including rules, schedules, and more.

https://jobeax.com/link/WTii7Hmt5MMGFYL4 is one of the few places you can build consumer products that ship at a consumer scale across this kind of technology surface (wireless, software, hardware/device) without changing companies. Engineers here go deep in their area and stay curious about everything else. We are building a new team in Krakow. Our employees work fully from the office with the possibility to work remotely occasionally.
