Software Engineer with Python About the Role Join a team developing enterprise data platforms and backend services used across a global financial organization. You will build scalable applications that support research, operations, and risk teams while collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services. Deliver production-ready software, including testing, deployment, and support. Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions. Contribute to system design, code reviews, and continuous improvements. Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes. Requirements 4+ years of software engineering experience. Strong Python skills. Experience with C#/.NET or Rust. Knowledge of backend development, REST APIs, and distributed systems. Experience with SQL, relational databases, and data modelling. Familiarity with cloud platforms, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing. Strong communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment. Nice to Have React or Angular experience. AI/ML integration experience. Financial services or market data knowledge. Experience with Kafka, Solace, or IBM MQ.
